Guadalest is a beautiful little pueblo, surrounded by lush countryside and mountainous terrain. The little church that sits perched on a huge rock is perhaps one of the most photographed images in Spain, but I was more taken with the stunning turqouise reservoir that lied below.

Guadalest, as the most visited pueblo in Spain, and I noticed it is started to get a bit commercialized. I would visit it if you have the opportunity, but I would recommend staying out of the tons of tiny little musuems that have set up shop to prey on the dollars of unassuming tourists.

Manuel, (Hosell on VT), was who made this trip possible. I went to visit him in Benidorm and he was kind enough to spend one of his days off to show me all around and he drove me to this pueblo where we checked out the amazing scenery! In a nutshell:Worthwhile to peel your body off the beach and pay a visit!
