Madrid, although not as cosmopolitan as Barcelona, or as charming as Toledo, is still the capital, the wild pulsing heart of Spain and it is loaded with things to see and do. Most notably are the Big 3 art museums: The Centre de Arte Reina Sofia, The Prado, and The Thyssen Borneiszma Collection. Take some time to get to know Madrid, but do not be intimidated by all their is to see, the city is surprisingly small and can be covered mostly on foot. |
