Casablanca--- Home to the Hassan II Mosque

by pabertra - last update: Mar 16, 2005

Hassan II Mosque
Casablanca is a large modern city hardly reminiscent of the movie by the same name. It boasts very few tourist attractions, with the exception of the luxurious and architecturally elaborate Hassan II Mosque. I would definitely stop in Casa again just to see this mosque, although I would head out shortly thereafter for another locale. It is the only mosque open to non-Muslims in all of Morocco. *

Interesting page, Paige. It's a shame that one can't find the Casablanca of the movies any more.

Hi Paige. Thanks for checking out my Jamaica page. I enjoyed my visit to the Hassan II Mosque, and I also liked Casablanca. I thought it was an exciting, vibrant city.
