I chose Mindoro Occidental instead of Mindoro Oriental just because I am not so keen in Puerto Galera. I was thingking of going to Mt. Iglit for the Mangyan and Thamaraw, but I left Mindoro without seeing Mt. Iglit.

Plaza Hotel isn't really that good when it comes to standard and shared rooms..

FYI Mindoro happens to be part of the Southern Tagalog Region and not Visayas. :)
