So what's to do in Tamworth Not many people outside of locals would know that Tamworth was the first country town in NSW to get electric street lights. Most people only know Tamworth as the home of country music, the host town to the largest music fesitval in Australia. In fact you would be hard pressed to find Country Music playing in many venues at any other time of the year. Tamworth is a major regional centre and has lots of decent hotels/holiday apartments, restaurants and shops |
