I visit 4 or 5 times a year having found this "gem" after fairly extensive travel. Grado,Udine,Cividale are worth a visit on the web as well as in person. Easy travel to the Alps,Austria,Slovenia,Croatia & Venice [with 11/2 hours] so you will never be bored. The fine wines ,good food, architecture and truly fantastic people. What more do you want ! |

They were absolutely lovely people. I am somehow delighted to know through your travelogues and comments, that this place lives up to what I'd heard about it! |
