"the land of coffee, seafood, & traffic jam" Seattle by shopgal

I was staying @ a hotel v. close to space needle, v. convenient location, but extremely hard to get to. for some reason the traffic in seattle was just horrible, not just on the freeways, which aren't that many, but also on the local streets. we were having lunch @ indo cafe, about 7 miles north of downtown and it took us 45 min. to get back to the hotel, on a thursday afternoon, around 4pm. it really was quicker to walk, indeed....

we were driving to vancouver from seattle, BIG mistake. it took us over an hour to stand in line to pass custom, plus the traffic jam, it basically took us almost 5 hr to travel 120 miles!!
although, i must say that the seafood there was v. fresh, including the veggies.
