It is my goal to travel to every continent in my lifetime. Well, maybe not Antarctica....it's cold enough in Chicago. So far I've traveled in Argentina, Italy, the Caribbean, and the United States. Eventually I'll share some of my experiences here during my free time. Maybe some time I'll write about my solo road trip from Chicago to New Orleans where I got locked in the St. Louis cemetery at Marie Laveau's grave! How freaky!

Scura the gato

Here is Scura.....she is a spoiled indoor cat living in the big city. All of her adventures happen when we travel and she is left to her own devices with her flatmate, the bird, Saso....a crabby old cocatiel who is not in the least bit afraid of this cat who just annoys the hell out of him.

Though you cannot tell from this picture, Scura is actually sitting on top of Saso's cage. What a bully she is.

Scura & Saso....a close encounter. Don't worry about the bird. So far the cat just likes to pet the bird, and sometimes she likes to jump when he flies away. It is a big game to her. Besides, the bird could kick her but if he really wanted to. To be honest, I'm more afraid of the bird hurting the cat then the other way around.

Hi Sarah, I like your music choices, even though mine are VERY different. I do have about 10% jazz CDs, though. Clarence Williams from 1928 has been getting the most plays at my house lately.
