"Cardiff, Sun, Rugby and Beer" a Cardiff Travel Page by YPie

When I'm not travelling I spend a lot of time watching rugby league. In fact sometimes I combine the two (Perpignan, Carcassonne, Limoux and a vague plan of a trip to Australia).

Cardiff is the current venue for the rugby league cup final while Wembley is being rebuilt, so I've spent a couple of good weekends down there in the past few years.

Saturday tends to be taken up watching the game, but this year we had a lovely day down at Cardiff Bay before heading home. The weather was gorgeous which helped! Next year we're down for three days so hopefully will get to see more of the city and the surrounding area.
