Hi! Welcome to my VT Page. I hope that what you find here is useful for planning your own trips. Before I left on my recent vacation to Italy and France, I read a ton of entries from fellow VT members and gained so much useful information--I hope that I can return the favor.
Obviously everyone's opinion of certain places are highly biased, so I will quickly reveal my own biases so that you may take my info with a grain of salt!
I tend to like the smaller cities as opposed to the countryside or huge metropolises. For sights, I would much rather go to a more obscure museum than to the Louvre...specialized exhibits on one artist or topic are my favorites. I love architecture and tend to take photos of building details, rather shots with a huge scope...so, if doors and windows are boring to you I apologize! You may not find my images too great then...
I like the beaten path and visiting cities that don't see a lot of tourists (I know, I know, who doesnt?) and hate crowds and congestion. Hence, I hated Florence, but loved Ferrara which has no real "blockbuster" sight.
