Nightlife Spot: Bardenay's
Bardenay’s could be listed under restaurants, but it’s also a bar and a distillery of rum, gin, and vodka, and the atmosphere is more like a bar than a restaurant. The founders had to get Idaho laws changed in order to open their own distillery legally, so a lot of work went into this place! On the menu you’ll find a large appetizer selection, soup, sandwiches, fish tacos, satays, hummus with pitas, etc. – upscale pub food. My favorite dish is the appetizer of clams steamed with wine, garlic, and chorizo, a Basque sausage that’s popular here. Most items are under $10, but it's possible to spend more (the beef fillet is close to $20). This picture was taken by my sister, Stephanie.
