I've been to Washington D.C. three times, all on business, for a total of seven weeks altogether. This was back in 1988 to 1990. Each time I went out in the evenings and on weekends to see as much as I could of my nation's capital city. I quite exhausted myself, but it was worth it. There are a lot of great places to see here. And hey, back then I was younger and could handle getting no sleep! ; ) |

Hi Jane, very nice page and nice pics! I suspect it has changed since I was there in '98 (post 911). Interesting last bit re North V South! In the UK we call all US citizens "Yanks" so there is no North/South differentiation at all! |
