Memories...

Okay, here's a silly memory for you. When I was really little, like five or six years old, I had a 78 record (have you even heard of these things?) of that song "O Solo Mio". I loved it and played it all the time. The book that went with it, or maybe it was just the record cover, I don't remember, had a picture of the leaning tower of Pisa. I had wanted to see it for myself ever since! And I finally did. I'm glad I did, but the best part of Pisa turned out to be something else entirely...

I am quite sorry now that I did not think to take a picture of the frescoes in the CampoSanto. What can I say, it was... more travel advice

    What a delightful introduction! I was not fond of Pisa...way too tacky. But I missed the cemetery. Thanks for this new information.
