Rockefeller Center at Night - New York City

The weekend before Christmas this year I took my daughter to New York City so that she could see Rockefeller Center and see the Rockettes' Christmas Show. We also did some shopping at Saks and Lord and Taylor and dropped a bit too much cash at American Girl Place. What a great time! And being from Boston, we're also really lucky to have just a 3-hour train ride to get there.

Rockefeller Center Skaters

It was really warm out the weekend that we visited, but the skating rink in Rockefeller Center was up and running.

The Chrysler Building

I love the Chrysler Building. Of all of the cities I've visited and the buildings I've seen, it's my favorite.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Hotels and food can be expensive
Cons:Maybe the best city in the world
