| Portsmouth VT Meet Sept. 21-23, 2007 |
Well, you guys have shamed me into it. I couldn't go on any longer without posting SOME sort of info. on Portsmouth. As you know, it is on New Hampshire's seaoast, which is the smallest seacoast of any state in the U.S. The city itself is quite small, and full of lovely historic buildings. Portsmouth is full of great shops and boutiques, cafes and restaurants. It is also home to a working harbor, which is very picturesque.
The main photo here is of Market Street. It is one of the downtown's main streets.
I will be adding to this page as often as I can to provide you with as much info as possible. |
| | Tugboats like these are a common sight in the harbor. |
This bridge spans the Portsmouth Harbor. On one side of the bridge is New Hampshire and the other Maine. The middle of the bridge between the two towers lifts to allow large ships to pass. | | |
