Getting TO/AROUND: The Algiers Ferry is the best and fastest way to get from the French Quarter to Algiers Point across the Mississippi. The Ferry carries both people and cars across the river every few minutes. People are free, but cars cost $1. Get the ferry on the Riverwalk by the La Plaza de Espaņa and the Aquarium.

Good tourist trap tip on the "haunted tours". I went on one and bailed out as soon as we got near Bourbon Street. It was awful! I love New Orleans, though...nice pages! |
