Saigon's Mexican cuisine specialists. They also serve Vietnamese, European and Asian dishes.

There are BBQ ribs and chicken every Sunday.

Favorite Dish: It has to be their Mexican Fajitas because they are the specialist and cheap (less than SGD5).

Their Vietnamese fried spring rolls are crispy and served with a special sweet and sour sauce.

Restaurant Name: Pho 2000

There is a menu list of pho and drinks hung up at the stall entrance for you to choose how you want your pho to be served.

This is a good place to sample your first bowl of pho - it was good enough for former US president Bill Clinton to stop in and slurp down a bowl.

Try to be there as early as you can. If you are there after 9am, most likely you may have to wait for a seat. The opening hours are from 6am to 2am.

Favorite Dish: The pho here is slightly more expensive and bigger serving than Pho Bo stall. Partly thanks to Bill Clinton but most likely is the location and it is more established.

Try it yourself and it is a start before doing your shopping at Ben Thanh market.
