Bus from KL to Kuala Besut (Perhentian island)

I'm not sure if there're buses going to Perhentian islands from Cameron highlands. From KL, one can fly or take a bus to Kuala Besut, then a boat to Pulau Perhentian.

From Singapore Lavender Street, it takes approximately 9.5 hours to Jerteh by Transnational Express. - Travel from Jerteh to Kuala Besut is approximately 15 minutes.

Beach to beach by boat

Even though there are some trails around the island, the easiest way to go from beach to beach or island to island is by boat. Most resort and chalet owners can arrange for a boat and driver. From island to island, the trip costs from MYR 10 per boat and from one beach to another on the same island costs from MYR 8. You can charter a boat for a half-day tour round the islands from MYR50 onwards depending on the type of resort you stay.
