"Getting stalked in KL" Kuala Lumpur by balisunshine

After trying other options for my visa run,
I finally decided to give KL a try.

From the beginning there were things
that were not very pleasing.

Even though it was 30 degrees Celsius,
it seems that everyone and everywhere
has the A/C on.
This is great if you carry plenty of body fat padding on,
but if you’re on the thinner side,
it is downright freezing.

Because it’s a Muslim melting pot,
there are a lot of men from other countries
who have never seen a woman wearing cloths
that reveal more than just the face.
And in the outside heat,
it’s nice to wear cloths that will
help keep your body heat down.

But this brings on some strong stares
and even some stalkers on.

As a female traveling solo,
this is one country where
I didn’t feel totally at ease.

For a healthy eater,
this can be a sickening nightmare.

The value of shopping has little to say
compared to its fellow Asian countries,
Bad quality at non-bargain prices.
And then the shop keepers
follow your every single move
as you browse around. Annoying!

It seems that if you were to travel to other areas
you may find some beautiful places.
But this was not my case.

It’s good to try most things once,
and KL will be a place that I hope
to visit only this one time.

KL international airport though,
is truly amazing.
That is if you transit through
and don’t leave the airport.
