There are some great
packages from the US to Bali
including flight and hotel.
Usually the 4 or 5 star hotels
proposed in these packages
are in Nusa Dua.
Nusa Dua's hotels are geared to
tourist groups, and international conferences.
Each hotel has its own combination of
first-class business and resort facilities.
Located in a large, landscaped park,
the complex also comprises
an international convention center,
a championship 18-hole golf course,
a luxury shopping center.
It’s a great place to stay if,
you want to be isolated from
the other parts of Bali.
Prices in this area are also
higher than in other parts of Bali.
But, Jimbaran and Kuta are
easily accessible by car.
It’s also a great spot for local ex-pats
to get away to for the day
without really encountering
anyone that they know.
There’s a few surfers that opt to live here,
since the rent for local housing
is considerably cheaper than
the more populated areas of Seminyak.
For budget accomodations,
check out: Baliblog
The best time to enjoy the beach is
when it’s high tide,
which can be verified by
viewing on the internet a tide chart.
When it’s low,
there isn’t much depth
to the water, if any at all.
Beaches here are white sand.
Because of the flat areas in Nusa Dua,
and the good roads and sidewalks,
riding a bicycle here,
is also a great activity to do.
- Pros:Most expensive area in Bali
- Cons:A great place to get away for the day

Hi There. You were the featured traveler just now. I always dislike hotels like this that have no local color or personality to them at all.
Great tips on this very inviting place. How's life there?
