head to Gili Trawangan!
The Gili islands are 3 small coral cays
a short distance off the north west corner of Lombok –
Gili Air, Gili Meno and Gili Trawangan
as you go away from the coast.
An ideal places for beach lovers, divers and snorkellers.
A dreamy place to just chill,
soak in the water or
simply laugh your head off
after eating one of the best
mushroom pizzas out of this world.
These islands are pretty attractive
and laid back (although the party scene in Sentral
on Gili Trawangan would keep most ragers happy) –
the perfect place for a budget or midrange holiday.
Overall, things were very quiet.
There are no cars,
only chardmos (horse & cart).
Make sure you come with good company
to make this place even more enjoyable.
Fasten your seatbelts and
have a wonderful journey to La La Land!

Nice tips!
Love the photos. I miss Trawangan. I was there back in Feb 2002 and had the best time of my life. I shall return soon.
Beach Hse rms great. Resort has generator - on 5 mins after power goes off. Friends in other places suffered for 2 days! Even basic rooms - aircon and TV/DVD Food best on isle, one of owners terrif chef fr Sydney, fanatical about freshness. Highly recomm
