Ubud for many years has been considered the cultural center of Bali, with resident artists showing their stuff in some of the various galleries.
Surrounded by picturesque rice fields, it makes it a great place for hiking, bike riding and taking pictures.
There’s a strong organic and holistic movement in Ubud. So, if you’re into the New Age vibe, then this can be a place to visit. |
| | It’s rather a quiet town by night, where many venues shut down around 10 or 11 pm. So, definitely not the party place. |
You will find plenty of spas, yoga, dining, places to stay, galleries, and if philanthropy is your interest, then there are several organizations based here
If you have time, Ubud is definitely worth a visit. | | |
