Two weeks in a chair at the edge of the swimming pool of an hotel.... not my idea of traveling. The world is an interesting place. Athens has it all: interesting people, fascinating history, excellent food, good and easy transportation, great traditions and music, active nightlife, shady terraces under green trees and sun, sun, sun...

In these Athens pages I try to give you a general overview of Athens even though I realize it never can be complete. However, if these pages give you an idea of what Athens is all about and they provide you with a few helpful tips, they serve their purpose.
