Beautiful development
Lake Bled is a very nice place to take a picture like this. Other than that it is tourist central. The area is very built up and there are a ton of hotels and it lacks a natural feel. I was planning on staying here for two days, but arrived and after one night decided to get to Lake Bohinj as fast as I could. The secret to taking this pic for free (the castle charges you way too much) is to walk on the path behind the castle and climb up the hill. If you keep climbing, you finally get to a point where the view is clear and you can see the whole lake. And voila, you can take a pretty picture like this!
