Great overview of a region unknown to me! I heard that it's very green there but you obviously had lovely weather, so the rain must fall some other season.

Beautiful photos & great tips on this very scenic part of Spain! I've always wanted to visit but the closest I got was over the border in the 'Geraz do Minho' region of Portugal. Loved the pic of the Ortigueira 'piper'!

So much to see in this part of Spain! I know a man who did a pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela -- alone and in a wheelchair. He later wrote a book about it.
