    • Easy walk from Blandy's Garden to Monte along a levada (irrigation channel). Nice teahouse on the way. The walk takes a bit more than 2 hrs.

    • Beautiful park 10km from Funchal. Caf? inside the park. Especially large collection of Protea. Entrance fee too high (8Euro)

    • Big garden with lots of exotics flowers and plants. Excellent views of the bay of Funchal. Entrance fee is 3€ and the garden is open every day from 9-18h.

    • Absolute stunning views of the mountains and valleys. Easy to get to from Ribeiro Frio (15 min. walk).
