Thanks for the Bday greetings. I managed to get to moscow this year. A couple of days in May for the Champions League final. It rained most of the time, but I did have a wander around Red Square. All the best

A very kind and impressive page about my home-country. Yoy've really seen a lot, Birgit! I loved the hotel-tip with a pic which I've recognized as a Soviet gostinnitza (hotel). You are right - there aren't good hotels in Russia still... Great VT-job!

Excellent page! The Volga cruise sounds like a great way to see many places. USSR was the cheapest destination before,should've visited it then, now with just the price of the visa I can go to Greece or Turkey....Still it's a must!
