Adelaide Hotel Tips by bijo69

My Place got good reports on the Lonely Planet, therefor I chose to stay there. No good idea, the place certainly had seen better days....

The dorms were definitely too stuffed with bunks and the kitchen was rather dirty, as were some of the bathrooms.

Breakfast is included, but it's nothing great: some cereals, toast, butter & jam, coffee & tea.

There's a nice balcony though.

I stayed at the YHA on my last trip to Adelaide and can't complain.
It's very well equipped with a large kitchen and community areas. There are a lot of internet terminals, enough washing machines and dryers, never had to wait for any of these.
The rooms are reasonably large, I stayed in a 6-bed dorm which was ok. But don't forget your earplugs, walls are rather thin!
