    • A great trip out of town is to visit Seven Mile Beach. If you're brave enough you can go for a swim is the cold water, if you like walking -there's a trail to Lauderdale (about 10km) from where you can take the bus back to Hobart.

     We were camping in Hobart and watch the departure of the QE2 from there. I still have a couple of local tea towels with cats printed on them.
