Birgit, fabulous updates since my last visit of your page in summer 2007. Especially the tips in the off the beaten path section are outstanding. So far I have only visited Sofia in Bulgaria, so it is about time to explore more of the country.

Excellent overview and great insight into Bulgaria complete with stunning photographs. Places like Veliko Turnovo, Sofia, Albena, Sunny Beach, Sozopol and Pamporovo really attract us a lot. We hope to visit Bulgaria one day. ~ho & pang

It is nice to see the many old houses in towns and villages of Bulgaria. I love visiting this kind of environment. I believe that all structures that is old and preserved are a treasure. Thanks for sharing Birgit.

Bulgaria is among the countries that we should visit. Your page gives a wide panorama of what we should epect. Thanks for sharing. We will not miss the cactus gardens in Balchik ! Madarski Konnik looks impressive !
