Ko Samet is a rather small island, just 6km long and between 400 and 1000m wide. The whole island has been declared a National Park in 1981 and you have to pay an entrance fee of 200 THB if you are a foreigner. |

I've once been on Ko Samet and we got the shower water in a jerry can. Lovely island but I agree getting on the boat is tricky and I very nearly stood on a big brown snake with my flipflops. | scottishvisitor Wed Oct 29, 2008 21:46 UTC
