Nusa Dua We stayed in the Sheraton Laguna - Nusa Dua. We cancelled our adventure to Lombok, because this was so relaxing after the year of wedding plans. |
| Where we had dinner the first night |
Restaurant outside the Sheraton. We had dinner here our first night. I wasn't sure if the beef would be okay, but I got the beef medallions and they were delicious. Many nights there were dances or special events held here. There was an afternoon tea and they would suggest trips. Granted the organized trips were more expensive than if you had booked them yourself, but it was worth it when you're feeling a bit lost. |
We found it a bit overwhelming to venture to an area where we did not speak the language and did not know anyone. We tried to walk downtown and ended up in the wrong direction. Finally a couple days into the vacation we met Manik. He offered to be our driver for $20 a day. We were a bit hesitant, but soon realized because 90% of the population is Hindu on Bali, almost everyone believes in Karma. Meaning they will not do something to you they would not want to come back to them. |
