The Good Very friendly people, I once wanted to see my fathers homeland. Wow, I was shocked. People seem to have a hope that their live will become more better after the war. With my german I was free to go in deep conversations, I heard the stories from lots of people about the war. According to people who are aware of speaking the truth, they lack. What's so posh about it when people wanna speak about their impressions? English is bad to get closer to the people, even they wouldn't understand you.. I mustn't have ask for first, normally they started soon. I found it a lil cultural historical. And I was proud that I spent my rare money in this cool country that has like a cactus some thorns, but otherwise it's one of Europe's greatest and interresting countries and landscape.
In Zenica I waited for my train to Budapest for over 12 hrs, after half an hour I had the whole trainstation staff on my side talking and laughing even some old citizens from nearby houses and villages stopped by and brought me food and drinks!!! They were proud that a tourist had interrest to come to their place and wanted to get in contact with them, speaking with them. It's wrong to see Bosnia in a eggshell, they are humans as others, they breath the same air and finally are even just humans. Why do often tourists act like poshy crap? From my hungarian stepfather I have learned to be friendly, open and handsome, to every single person on this planet. I know about eastern europe's friendliness, cause I'm one of them. And I learned that I'm right, People who have their hard life to live shared there food with me just to get in conversation and have a good time. That made me think of sth. we live in our western world. Be more open, friendly and you should respect the people.
I was in dangerous situations too, landminefields etc. but all the bad can't take away the positive I felt over there, cheers I'm alive. And I can't remember travelling and felt ever so alive, thank you Bosnia. |
