New England in Autumn - that is Indian Summer for those who know it.
All of New England is good for going out and enjoying nature.
Go for a hike (try the Apalachian Trail or Parts of it), or the white Mountains National Park, Climb Mount Washington - at least by car - or take the train...
I was also told it is good for biking around here (and Vermont even better)

it must be a nice life in a little town of new hampshire
Nice Indian Summer photos and interesting tips. Brings back memories of hiking on the Appalachian Trail when I was a student.
New Hampshire is certianly beatiful in the autumn. Glad to see that you enjoyed it.
I can't wait to see those autumn colours myself. Thanks for the info.
Beautiful photos of the Autumn leaf colours! You picked a great time of the year to sample this pretty little part of the world.
There's nothing like fall foliage in New England -- it's the one thing I've missed the most since moving down South!
Are you a SHAKER Myndo?
White Mountains are lovely. Been wanting to get up to the Shaker Village for quite some time. Love the simplicity of their furniture and homes.
Everything is relative, isn't it? The mountains of New Hampshire do not quite measure up to the Alps. Good info!
