Tsavo National Park East Travel Guide: 115 reviews and 293 photos

Tsavo East is probably the most visited park in Kenya (next to the Masai Mara), mostly because it is close to Mombasa and the coast and it still hosts quite a lot of animals.
To get there you can drive on the road, coming from Mombasa the first part is more a torture, because the road (the so called highway) is so bad, but it gets better after half of it.

The park is well known for its Red Elefants, but has also other wildlife as lions, hippos, many antelopes, giraffae, ostrich, crocodiles etc.

To really see something from the park it is better to spend more than just a day in it.

Great pics and descriptions of Tsavo East! I drove that bumpy road a couple of times when it was in better shape, but never stopped at this park. Your river view shots reminded me of the Oliphants River views in Kruger National Park. Excellent page!
