"Dampier and Karratha" Dampier by Myndo

Actually I will write about Karratha, but because that small town isn?t in the VT plan, I choose the next close town that is. (Dampier).

The surroundings of Karratha are full of Aboriginal historical sites and many engravings can be found.
Unfortunately the Aboriginals themselves are not present here anymore. A pitty, if you ask me.

But they left wonderful carvings that are worth to be looked after.
