"Kalbarri, and a lot of things to do and see" Kalbarri by Myndo

Kalbarri Travel Guide: 178 reviews and 476 photos

Kalbarri seems to be only a small town in western australia, but only two days there taught me something different.?
There?s so many interseting things to do and see around here.

It starts, when you are driving up north not on the "big" highway N? 1 but from North Gregory up the coast.
- Theres a lake that is all pink.
- There are the wild coast line, with natural bridges and cliffs and good viewpoints where you can watch dolphins and whales
- There is a parrot-farm
- There is Pelikan-feeding at the beach
- Theres the Kalbarri National Park with the Murchison River
etc .....

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:lots of things to see and do
  • Cons:you should have a car
  • In a nutshell:very good starting point for different attractions

I've been abseiling in that park. I always loved those big pelicans in Australia. Thanks for bringing back memories.

You'd be surprised to see how Kalbarri has grown since you were there. It's still a great place. leyle

Wow - the pink lake is great! I'll have a look at it mid/end of November - hopefully it's also pink by then! ;-)
