Perth was only the Beginning of my 2nd trip through Australia.
Unfortunately I couldn?t stay very long, but I really liked it?s "ambiance" and feeling.
Since my friend was there one week befor me, she showed me around a little.
If you have only short time (like me), go and take a look at swan bell,
vistit the kings park (very nice view), go shopping and make a day tour to rottnest island.

My friend moved to Perth last year from the UK unfortunatley her 19 year old daughter was murdered there 10 days ago, terrible shock, she so loved it were she lived in Mindarie, sounded superb.
You have quite an impressive collection of travel there yourself:-).. I love Perth and Rottnest Island is a nice getaway... the quokas are interesting.
