"Wilsons Promontory - where Stone meets Sea" Top 5 Page for this destination Wilsons Promontory National Park by Myndo

located 200 km south east of Melbourne, I am sure it is a much liked weekend-destination.

But if you are there, you can really feel away from it all.

It is a small, wild paradise.
Granite-Stone Hills over Dshungle-like forest. And a wild Ocean Shore with some sandy strips.

Information Centre is at Tidal River

There are a lot of good walks you can make in here, or stay at the beach or do some water sport.
There are also quite a lot of wombats (cute things, but sometimes with lots of flies)

Pros and Cons

Wombats are difficult to foto. They keep turning their behind towards you so as to run away quicker.
