Phetchaburi - busy Thai village with awsome Cave

by Myndo - last update: May 2, 2006

Phetchaburi is a busy little Thai Village that is well known especially for one thing: for having one of the most beautiful Caves of Thailand. And Thailand has a lot of Caves.
Impressive in this Cave is the way the light enters through two big holes in the ceiling, lighting the cave and the religious shrine in it.

The way to the cave is easy - if you know where to park :-)
Because you have to climb down some steep stairs, the place is not good for disabled travellers at all.

Fantastic photo of that cave!! My wife and I swam into a Mayan sacrificial cave in Belize where the skeletons from 1100 years ago were still there! That was fun too!
