For live football action head to Rajamangala Stadium at Hua Mark.The stadium seats at least 50,000 people and you can buy tickets at the gate ..I bought a ticket for the FA Asia Trophy (Thailand undre 23s v Everton,Boltonv Man City)1500 baht ticket for 500 baht from a guy in front who took me inside so I knew that the ticket was not fake.Tickets for local matches will be much cheaper!Not a bad size crowd of supporters turned up to see Thailand beat Everton in a penalty shoot out and Bolton also beat Man City in a shoot out. Ramkhamhaeng staduim is situated ina very busy area nd the traffic can be terrible especially around 5 pm ,so give youself some time so you don't miss half the match.
Equipment: Bring your own food and drinks will be cheaper and buy a pair of binoculars for a better view of the action.
