Gauangelloch

Gauangelloch from the air
As a small child, I lived for two years in Gauangelloch, a tiny village located near Heidelberg. This aerial photo of Gauangelloch depicts the soccer field located just a short distance from the apartment where my family lived. Our apartment is in the bottom row of houses, 9th from the right, with a red tile roof and a vacant lot to the north (to the right, in the picture.)

The Arms of Gauangelloch

I had no idea Gauangelloch even had its own arms, as small a village as it is. This is what came up while I was researching Gauangelloch on the web though, and everyone knows that if it's on the internet then it must be true, right?

David: I recently found out one of my ancestors may have been born and married in Gauangelloch. Could you tell me anything about the Lutheran church there in town? Do they have a website? Anything would be helpful.

I LOL at your comment about truth and the Net!!! Very informative and interesting introduction pointing out where you lived for two years. Thanks for the little tour..enjoyed the photo of the forest next to your apartment.
