Niagara Falls is one of those places in the world that's so unique and that you see so often in pictures and movies that you simply must go see it once in your life. This is especially true for residents of North America, for whom getting to Niagara Falls is very easy.
The Horseshoe Falls, named as such because of their shape, are on the Canadian side and can really only be seen in all its glory from Canada. The American Falls, while also quite impressive, are not nearly as big, and can still only be seen fully from Canada. In other words, be prepared to go to Canada if you want to see Niagara Falls. That's easy enough though, as all you have to do is drive across the bridge from the U.S. to Canada and pay a small toll. |
