Exciting and vibrant city. Most of the people of Ljubljana don't really act like dragons. They are just nicknamed " little dragons " by their sports rivals. Actually the city as a whole has an industrious, intelligent, and friendly populace. The origins of the frightening looking green symbol of this great city dates all the way back to ancient Grecian mythology.
Ljubljana ( I am surprised that the city name has not been anglicized to Lyubleeyana ) will steal your heart away if you let your guard down. Perhaps it was enough that the country name was anglicized from Slovenija to Slovenia.

Drew,this is the best page I'veread on Ljubljana and as I'm hoping to go to Slovenia this year, I've read quite a few. I wouldn't be crazyabout the door either -it wouldbe better mounted on the wall. Really enjoyed reading this :)) th |
