When we first visited Windsor all I knew was that it was home to a Royal Residence and that is, of course, why it is on everyone's radar. It is the main attraction there but evidently the amusement park, Legoland, is growing in popularity. Also, on a visit that did not include the castle (or Legoland for that matter) we found that a stroll through the historic college town of Eton to be a delightful way to spend the morning. Like most people, our visits have been day trips, but we both feel it would be a lovely place to relax for a few days so one day we may just book a b & b and do it.
