Pas de la Casa Why go? to SKI of course

by martyfrize - last update: Mar 25, 2004

SKI or Board, that is the question?

Remember the sun cream
Pas de la Casa & Grau Roig, the highest skiing in Andorra @ 2050 & 2600m. P de la C itself is a tax free discount shopping village without too much character. A moderate apres ski scene, lively in places, fades to a quiet featureless nightlife. Known as MANdorra for good reason, the nightlife feels like an oil rig location.

Getting there...

So why go? Because its cheap! Try www.iglu.com but look for a late deal in January, priced this year at £150, or under 210 Euros for a weeks half board, including return flights from the UK to Toulouse, 3.5 hour coach transfer, in splendid Hotel Gatsby, 100 m from the slopes / lifts.
The smile says it all

Its not all about skiing

Apres ski is livelier than the nightlife, so make sure to take time to enjoy it!

Don't burn out too early
The domino effect

Meet the gang

Learning to ski with people of similar abilties is part of the fun. You all fall together!

Pros:"Cheap, great for Beginners, 2600m of "guaranteed snow""
Cons:"Poor night life, poor food / eating experience"
In A Nutshell:"Go there and learn to ski, don't come back until you can"
