Mohammed Ahmed is still the famous resturant in Alexandria and maybe all over Egypt.
They give a decent plates of beans and Taamia.
I like Alexandria bean plate they make it very good.
also try fried cheese as you will not eat it everywhere else:)

Restaurant Name: Dongol.

This resturant have a main disadvantage that the location is not that nice,but it offers a very very good taste sea food.
You can get a plate of mixed seafood for 20L.E inclused 3 kinds of fish+shrimps+Fish Kofta,,Rice and shrimps soap is included also.
this resturant for a low standard tourists who want to spend the least amount.

Directions: From Soter street cross the tram rialway you will find a gas station pass it and turn the first right and ask where is Dongol they will show you where it is.

Restaurant Name: Queen Island Resturant.

This is one of the better resturant which offers Kebab and Kofta and kinda stuff.
its a bit high than others but it offers the best service and quality.
I am sure that you will enjoy it.
