Well here we go. Starting in Cairo?? where to go?? where to stay?? what is the tips?? is there any dangerous for me to walk alone??
I see many question in your eye but let me specify it,its easy:)
1-Where to go?? -First you should know that Cairo and Giza are merged togather in a one big city. from this point let me discuss where to go and what to take to ease your trip
1-Pyramids.! Sure the 1st thing to go and visit in Egypt is the Pyramids.,the 3 big ones and the small 6 ones,Sphinx too is one of the best things you will ever see. never miss riding a camel or running over a horse in the desert but be aware IT HURTS.
Tips: 1- Never buy something from the walkers buy its real price divide the number they say over /3 and then take it with the number resulted.
2- Never buy papyrus from there because it is 100 times multiple the real price "believe me" and be aware that the camel driver will take you to a one as he takes commission tell him NO I DONT WANT I ALREADY BOUGHT" and I will disucss with you how to and from where to buy the best papyrus.
3-Riding a camel costs me 35 pounds "egyptian price" well so sure the camel owner will ask you to pay 200 or 300 pounds I think 75EGP is fair enough as you are a tourist. if he is insisting for the money through the money and go away because he will never stop.!
How to go?
1-From Ramsis take air conditioned bus number 690.
2-From Tahrir take anything going to Haram.
4-If a taxi depends from where you took it,but its about 10-15L.E from the middle of the city to the pyramids.
I will discuss more in tips and must see activities pages. DO READ IT
Have fun. |
