Located on Sentosa Island piercing the sky at an inspiring height...real high. The horizons expand as the air-conditioned cabin heads slowly to the top. • Spend a part of the day here. A world's largest walk-in aviary. Among the best aviaries in the world, the 20+ hectare park is home to 9,000 or so birds from over 600 species. There are some excellent exhibits, shows about every half hour, and more to take in than a one day visit allows. The park is also handicapped accessible and very relaxing. Worth visit for both young and old.

    Things To Do: Botanical Gardens
  • Tip Rating: [Not enough ratings yet]
  • A beautiful and a relaxing place to discover and admire. Nothing is here to dislike if you are a nature afficionado. The entrance is free. There are many specific areas in the premises to see like The National Orchids Garden( a must), Ginger Garden and the Evolution Garden. The numerous plant species here, including many rare specimens, reflect the Singapore Botanic Gardens' richness and diversity of plant life. I love just siiting on the bank of Swan Lake.

    Things To Do: Singapore Flyer
  • Tip Rating: [Not enough ratings yet]
  • While in Singapore, don't miss to take a flight in a big wheel. It is considered as the world's tallest observation wheel. This engineering and architectural marvel has 28 capsules, each has space for 28 passengers. Every capsule is fully air-conditioned. You can get to an impressive height of 165 m on the Flyer, about a 42-storey building. We took a ride at night and enjoyed the city with its glittering atmosphere. The ride lasts for half an hour

The basic prices are SGD 29.50 for adults, 20.65 for children and 23.60 for senior citzens

Sounds like you had a good time in Singapore. The 'wheel' was still being built when we were there, and we didn't go up the skytower, things to do next time, as Singapore is often a stopover on overseas flights.

On my time in Singapore I took a non-visa bus tour from the airport between planes. This is a great idea, but that day it was raining so hard we saw absolutely nothing. They drove us up to the top of a hill and told us how great the view was -- usually.

Singapore is a fabulous place to visit isn't it? I love the Chinatown area, better shopping than Orchard Road I think

I've been to Singapore several times but I don't like the climate too much.
