Dyke & Paseo Maritimo

Torrevieja is a fishing village at the southern Valencian community, 41 kilometers away from Alicante to the north. Its name means an Old Tower.
The town is located southwards on the Costa Blanca and its main attractions are the
Natural Salt Lakes,tourism, fishing and the beautiful blue flag carrier beaches. So if you prefer to a quiet and tranquil holiday, why not choose this area. Of course, on peak seasons, here is quite filled with local and foreign tourist especially at beaches.
Habaneras Monument
This coastal town in the south of Alicante province has a temperate continental climate. The town has two protected Natural Parks with two salt lakes and with no doubts, these salt lakes is the town most existence. In 1802 the salt production moved from La Mata. Its salt production is one of the biggest in Europe. the town is also popular to its yearly Certamen Internacional de Habaneras y Polifonia competition. Torrevieja also boast large beaches namely:

La Mata Beach in Torrelamata , Cabo Cervera, Los Locos, El Cura, El Acequion,Los Naufragos and Ferris.
